A large majority of websites use Google Analytics to mesure the audience of their websites and have (detailed) informations about their visitors.

And another large majority of webistes integrated the "share" button from Twitter, or the "like" button from Facebook or...

That's a good way to share.
Easy, practical, no seriously, in one word, useful.

Except that in counterpart, these companies recolt information about you, your internet usage, tastes, desires...
